Edward R. Gensimore, 78, of Centre Hall died Thurs. April 3, 2003 at Centre Community Hospital in State College. He was born Dec. 22, 1924 near Tyrone, PA, the son of the late Calvin and Mae Bousum Gensimore. On May 23, 1947 he married Laura May Trimble who preceded him in death on Jan. 4, 2000.
Mr. Gensimore owned and operated Gensimore Trucking in Pleasant Gap until his retirement. He was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church in Centre Hall, the Centre Hall Lions Club, and a former member of Centre Hall Borough Council. He was a member of the B. P. O. E. in Bellefonte.
He is survived by 4 sons: Daniel E. and his wife Connie of Rural Centre Hall, Barry L. and his wife Darcey, of Rebersburg, Nevin W. and his wife Kathy of Houserville, and Bradley S. and His wife Mindy K. Gensimore of Centre Hall, and 11 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Harold and Donald Gensimore. Visitation 1-3 and 7-9 p. m.
