Edward Dent West, Sr. passed away in Bellefonte, PA, Thursday, October 6, 2016. Eddie was born in Fairmount, WV to the late Dent West and Pauline Satterfield West February 5, 1931. Eddie was one of the first employees of Rental Uniform Service and retired as plant manager of the State College, PA location.

Surviving Mr. West is his wife, Nancy B. West; his children, Edward Dent West, Jr., Linda W. Hawkins, Lana W. Rudd, Lois W. Cash, Carol W. McNamara and Susan W. Payne; his grandchildren Todd Rudd, Eric Rudd, Jonathan Yancey, Jennifer Hawkins, Andrew Hawkins, Dale McNamara, Mary Katherine McNamara, Maddy Linthicum; great-grandchildren Anne-Marie Rudd, Allison Rudd, Abigail Rudd, Aidan Yancey; his siblings, Elvira Leavell, Rebecca Myers, Daisy Backe, Mary Sue Kilby, Nancy Hardesty, Harry West and Robert West.

Preceding Mr. West in death is his grandson Anthony Yancey; his siblings Idella Silvia, Paul West, John West, Olive Jenkins, and Albert West.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Culpeper United Methodist Church Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
