Obituary
Elizabeth E. Watkins, 80, of State College died August 27, 2017 at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Born April 10, 1937 in Bellefonte she was the daughter of the late Carlton Andrew and Mary Ellen (Baney) Emel Hockenberry.
On July 2, 1960 she married Thomas E. Watkins, Sr., who preceded her in death on April 20, 2007.
Elizabeth retired from Pennsylvania State University's janitorial department after 22 years of service.
Mrs. Watkins is survived by five children, Thomas E. Watkins, Jr, Charmaine Watkins, Teresa Watkins, Michael (Beth) Watkins and Douglas (Jessica) Watkins all of State College; six siblings, Thomas (Evelyn) Emel of Bellefonte, Ellen Emel, Rose (Charles) Wolfe, Dolly (Richard) Walkter, Mary June Emel all of Milesburg, and Herbert L. (Diane) Hockenberry of Boalsburg; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three siblings, Carlton A. Jr., Helen and Robert Emel.
At Elizabeth's request all services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Entombment will be in Centre County Memorial Park.
