Emilie L. Hussiere, 80, of State College, formerly of Philipsburg, died Monday, May 7, 2007, at the Hearthside Nursing Center in State College.
She was born February 3, 1927, in Philipsburg, PA a daughter of the late Emile and Eva Mae Williams Hussiere.
Emilie graduated from Philipsburg High School and was employed as a clerical worker for Bell Telephone Company.
Miss Hussiere was a former member of the First Church of Christ in Philipsburg, and the Telephone Pioneers.
She is survived by a sister Ellen Marie Holt of Muncy; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend who was like a sister, Audrey J. Stewart.
Following her wishes, her body was donated for anatomical study through Humanity Gifts Registry, and also in accordance with her wishes there will not be a public memorial service.
Burial will be next to her parents at the Philipsburg Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
