Erla J. Jodon, age 86, of Hollidaysburg and formerly of Boalsburg, died December 20, 2022 after an extended illness. After living most of her life in Boalsburg, Erla moved to Inglenook at the Presbyterian Village in Hollidaysburg to be closer to her son and his family.

Born on March 6, 1936, Erla was the daughter of the late Willard and Hannah Goss. On June 8, 1963, she married the late Robert E. Jodon. She was also predeceased by her special companion of 10 years, Gene Williams of State College.

Erla was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Boalsburg, as well as, an auxiliary member of the State College Elks Club #1600 and the State College VFW. During her time with Gene, they enjoyed traveling and ballroom dancing. Erla also loved square dancing with many friends at Senior Squares in State College. She spent many afternoons at Inglenook playing pinochle and putting puzzles together. Erla treasured this time spent with her friends.

Erla is survived by her son Robert T., his wife, Linda, and three granddaughters: Paige, Ella, and Lily, all of Duncansville. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews in State College, Philipsburg, and other areas of Pennsylvania.

Per Erla's request, there will be no viewing or funeral. There will be a private service for her family at the Centre County Memorial Park in State College. An online guestbook may be signed and condolences left for the family at www.hakygeorgianafh.com
