Ethel M. Snavely, 84, of Rebersburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at her home.

Born on November 28, 1932 in Mifflin County, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Mary (Wilson) Snare.

Ethel enjoyed reading and collecting owls. She especially loved spending time with her family.

She is survived ten children; Linda Mody (Gaurang), Rose Swatz (James), Susan Lamey (Joe), Sara Wells (Mark), Floyd (Mary), Gary, Jeff (Brenda), Richard (Rose), James (Paulette), Minnie (Jeremy); two brothers, Robert Snare (Charlotte), Terry Snare, and one sister Elaine Spicer; Twenty-nine grandchildren, fifty-six great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Cathrine Snare, Alice Auman, and Carlalou Zerby, Melvin Snare, and Harry Snare.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. The memorial service will immediately follow with Pastor John Snare officiating.

Interment will take place at Centre County Memorial Park.
