Obituary

Eugene "Gene" K. Deibler, 66, of Penna Furnace, died Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center.
He was born on August 6, 1940 in Pittsburgh to the late Rachel Mae Deibler.
On August 15, 1960 he married Barbara I. Gailey who survives at home.
He graduated State College High School in 1958.
He worked as a painter for Bill Johnston and as a truck driver for the Penn State University Creamery, North American Van Lines, and later for Stocker Chevrolet.
He was a member of Fairbrook United Methodist Church and the NRA. He loved his family, hunting, and spending time at camp. His wonderful sense of humor was a joy and blessing to all.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters, Debbie I. Eisenhower and her husband John of Mill Hall, Darla M. Sevick and her husband Mike of Penna Furnace, Jeanne M. Witmer and her husband John of Catawba, NC; a brother, James F. Deibler and his wife Edna of Bloomsburg; and two grandchildren, Tiffany Danielle Eisenhower of Mill Hall and Michael E. Sevick of Penna Furnace.
A visitation will be held from Noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services PC, State College, PA 16801. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 with Rev. Howard T. Woodruff officiating. Burial will follow at the Centre County Memorial Park.
