Obituary

Eugene P. Walker, 83, a resident of Fairways at Brookline Village, died Sunday, April 2, 2006.
Born March 8, 1923 in Lamar Township, Clinton County, he was a son of the late Merion Wilson and Grace Myrtle Smith Walker.
A 1941 graduate of Lock Haven High School, he was a farmer and an electrician. He also enjoyed hunting.
On June 6, 1951 he married Margaret I. Houser who preceded him in death on February 18, 2002.
Mr. Walker was a member of the Linden Hall Bible Church where he served as superintendent, Sunday School teacher, and song leader.
Eugene is survived by two daughters, Susan L. Walker and Carol A. Walker, both of Spring Mills; three sisters, Gladys Mae Shuey and Esther Viola Watson, both of Bellefonte, and Peggy Lou Bierly of Linden Hall; and a brother, Paul W. Walker of Mohnton, PA.
Visitation will be from 11 am to 12 noon on Friday, April 7, 2006 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral & Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon on Friday at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul E. J. Fultz officiating. Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
