Eva Grace Rudy, 93, of Centre Hall, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Centre Crest in Bellefonte.
She was born June 9, 1914, in Walker Township, Centre County, a daughter of the late Frederick S. and Crissie M. Spicer Wells.
On December 18, 1934, he married J. Leonard Rudy who preceded her in death on July 26, 1989.
Mrs. Rudy is survived by a daughter, Mary F. Thomas of Karthaus, three sons, Carl F. Rudy of Sewickly, James L. Rudy of Allison Park, and Earl E. Rudy of El Paso, TX; twenty-nine grandchildren, and thirty-seven great grandchildren. She was the last survivor of her siblings.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Betty May Rudy in 1950 and Crissie E. Musser, in 2008.
Eva was a homemaker and assisted on the family farm in Potter Township. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Centre Hall. She had been a long time member and past treasurer of the Mission Society at Bethany United Methodist Church near Colyer.
Mrs. Rudy especially enjoyed needlework, crocheting, embroidering and quilting.
Friends will be received from 10:00 a. m. to 12:00 noon Monday, March 10, 2008, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home with the Reverend Judith Hulslander officiating. Burial will follow at the Boalsburg Cemetery in Boalsburg.
