Evelyn L. (Brooks) Breon April 21, 1918 April 17, 2015 Evelyn L. (Brooks) Breon, age 96, a resident of Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople, PA, formerly of Centre Hall, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015.

Born April 21, 1918 in State College, she was the daughter of the late Harry Lee and Katherine (Meyer) Brooks.

Evelyn was a member of St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople, PA and was a former member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Centre Hall. She was the Valedictorian of her graduating class at Gregg Township School in Spring Mills. Evelyn was the branch manager for the Mid State Bank in Pleasant Gap and also was the Assistant Director for the Centre County Treasurer's Office.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Susan L. (Breon) Serena and husband, Kenneth J. Serena, of Bradfordwoods, PA; her three grandchildren, Stephanie (Nale) Lichauer of Pittsburgh, PA, Robert A. Nale of Milroy, PA and Natalie (Nale) Spiroff of Enola, PA; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert P. Breon and her daughter, Nancy E. Breon. Evelyn's family will welcome friends on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 10 A.M. until the time of her Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 11 A.M. at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 104 North Pennsylvania Avenue, Centre Hall, with Rev. David Downer and Rev. James R. Bertoti from St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople, PA, co-officiating.

She will be laid to rest at the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery in Centre Hall.
