F. Evelyn Sharer, 92, of Centre Hall, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at her residence.

Born March 13, 1922 in Centre Hall she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Susan (Wagner) Miller.

On June 26, 1941 she married Reeder J. Sharer who preceded her in death on September 28, 2000.

Evelyn was a graduate of Centre-Hall Potter High School, class of 1941.

She was a member of St Luke Lutheran Church in Centre Hall.

She worked the family farm and was an avid Penn State sports fan.

Evelyn is survived by three daughters, Shirley L. O'Hara of Spring Mills, Patricia A. Strouse (Monty) and Norma J. Crater (Jan) both of Centre Hall; one son, Thomas Ray Sharer of Centre Hall; a son-in-law, Robert Long of Centre Hall, one sister, Alta Harter of Webster NY; two brothers, Lynn Miller (Kathryn) of Centre Hall and Guy Miller (Essie) of Boalsburg; eighteen grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren eleven great great grandchildren; and eight step great grandchildren

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, M. Joanne Long on January 6, 2011.

Friends will be received from 9:30 to 11:00 am, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 301 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, Centre Hall, PA. A memorial service will follow immediately at 11:00 a. m. at the church with the Reverend Scott Klimke officiating.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
