Faye L. Stover, 88, of Pleasant Gap passed away July 26, 2023. She was born in Petersburg, PA on December 2, 1934 to the late Mary Croyle.

Faye was a 1952 graduate of State College High School who went on to work in customer service for 30 years until her retirement. In 1952 she married her high school sweetheart, Elwood Stover; the couple remained married for 40 years until his death.

Faye was always very devoted to her faith and was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Pleasant Gap. She was also a member of the Women's Club and the American Legion Club Auxiliary #867. Although she was an avid Penn State Fan who also enjoyed traveling, painting ceramics, crocheting, macrame and reading, her most beloved pastime was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Faye was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; her husband, Elwood and her brother, Harold. She is survived by her children, Eugene Stover (Selena) of Bellefonte, Donald Stover (Angie) of Lewistown and Mary Wellar (Kurt) of Bellefonte; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Monday, July 31, 2023 from 10:00AM - 12:00PM with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00PM at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home 1034 Benner Pike State College, PA 16801. Interment will take place at Centre County Memorial Park.
