Florence A. Grove, 93, of State College, died Thursday, June 16, 2005 at her home.
She was born July 1, 1911, in Madisonburg, a daughter of the late John S. and Cora Shaffer Rishel.
On March 27, 1937 she married Willis W. Grove who preceded her in death July 11, 1990.
Mrs. Grove was a member of the Madisonburg United Methiodist Church.
From 1927 to 1937 she was employed in the Millheim Hoisery Mill. She enjoyed gardening, and growing flowers.
She is survived by a son, James M. Grove and his wife Carolyn of Boalsburg, and three sisters, Mary Gilmore of Millheim, Martha Orndorf of Reynoldsville, and Arlene Decker of rural Bellefonte.
Friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at the former Kyper Funeral Home, now Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, P. C., 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. The funeral will be at 2:00 p. m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA.
