Frances S. Overdurf, 84, of Bellefonte died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Centre Crest Nursing Home, Bellefonte.

She was born June 10, 1934, in State College; a daughter of the late Frederick P. and Larene (Wagner) Spannuth.

Frances is survived by her two daughters, Enola (Mike) Weaver of Port Matilda, Lydia Snyder (Scott Spearly) of Bellefonte; six grandchildren, Chadwick, Wesley, and Maxine Weaver, Nathan (Alessa), and Renae Snyder, and Zachary Spearly; one great- granddaughter, Ella Snyder Summey; one sister –in-law, Nancy Spannuth. Frances is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Virginia Norris; brother, Frederick Spannuth, and one grandson, Matthew Snyder.

Frances was a graduate from State College High School class of 1952.Early in life, Frances worked as a beautician. She enjoyed baking and loved her two cats, Clem and Sam. Most importantly; she cherished time spent with her family.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
