Frank C. Schultz ,82, of State College, died Tuesday, March 04, 2014 at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Born July 23, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the late Conrad and Stella May (Rogers) Schultz.
On August 27, 1955, he married Emma May Gunsallus, who survives at home.
He attended State College High School and was a member of the Gatesburg Lutheran Church. Frank worked at Penn State University from 1952-1987, retiring from the landscaping department. He then worked part time at Centre County Memorial Park. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and raising honey bees. He also served as a grounds keeper for twenty years at the Snow Shoe Campground and enjoyed his time camping there.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Dolores A. Bruss (Jerry) of Julian, John M. Schultz, Molly L. Schultz (Ron) and Frank C. Schultz (Crystal) all of State College; eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Albert C. Schultz and a sister Helen Gibboney.
Visitation will be from 6 -8 p. m. Friday, March 7, 2014 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a. m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the funeral home with the Reverend Dave Michel officiating. Interment will be in Centre County Memorial Park.
