Freda G. Adams, 103, wife of the late Dr. E. H. Adams, died at Brookline Fairways September 12, 2006.
Freda was born in Berwick, PA on August 30, 1903. After completing high school she entered Geisinger School of Nursing and graduated with honors.
On March 9, 1926 she and Dr. Adams married and moved to Bellefonte where Dr. Adams served as general surgeon and Chief of Staff at the Centre County Hospital.
Freda was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She also served as a volunteer at the hospital gift shop.
She was the mother of Jean Adams Mauk of Pittsburgh and Nancy Adams Spiniolas of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
