On September 26, 1929, she married Joseph Moyer of Lilly, PA. They were married 54 years before his death on April 22, 1987.
She had worked in the Gallitizin Shirt Factory for 12 years before becoming a full time homemaker and mother.
She enjoyed gardening, reading, watching her favorite soap operas and the news, spending time on the phone or in person talking to friends and family. She especially enjoyed her "100 th" birthday celebration, where she got to share many memories with friends and family and have the Barbershop Quartet sing to her. The greatest joy the last five years was living with her daughter, Christine and their three cats - Tabby, Sapphire, and Topaz.
She is survived by one daughter, Christine Moyer of Boalsburg and numerous nieces and nephews, but was especially close recently to her nieces Virginia Landrum, Jeannine Nash, and Melanie Murray.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Mae Murray and Alice Virginia Meadrow.
