Obituary
Gladys V. Stricker Jordan, 97, of Colyer, died Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Hearthside Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in State College.
She was born May 2, 1918 near Boalsburg, a daughter of the late Ray and Elizabeth Stricker Acker
She was married to Charles Jordan who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Jordan was a homemaker, and a former member of Colyer Brethren In Christ Church. She enjoyed gardening and working with flowers.
Surviving Mrs. Jordan are two sons, Ronald E. Jordan and James W. Jordan of Colyer; 10 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four sons, Charles, Ray, George and David; a grandson Eugene Jordan, a daughter in law Darlene Jordan; and four siblings, Belva Franklin, Waiva Duck, and Ebon and Abner Glenn Stricker.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Zion Hill Cemetery at Colyer, with the Reverend F. Jeffrey Mugridge officiating
