Gloria M. Meyers, 80, of rural Centre Hall, passed away Friday, November 27, 2009 at Centre Crest Nursing Center in Bellefonte.
She is survived by her husband of sixty two years, Ray H. Meyers, Sr. of rural Centre Hall. Also surviving are a son Ray H. Meyers Jr. and his wife Shirley of Madison, Alabama; a daughter Diane E. McMurtrie and her husband Mahlon of Centre Hall; three grandsons Fredrick R. McMurtrie and his wife BillieJo of Centre Hall, Thomas Meyers and his wife Carol of Huntsville Alabama, and Steven Meyers of Elwood Kansas; one granddaughter Kelly Jo McMurtrie of rural Centre Hall; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; two sisters Jean Johnson of Pleasant Gap, and Margaret (Peggy) Wood of Chino Valley, Arizona; and one brother, Francis H. Smith Jr. of Prescott Arizona.
Following her wishes, there will be no public visitation. Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
