Greta J. Moerschbacher, 86 of Bellefonte passed away peacefully Monday, November 16, 2015 surrounded by her family at the Centre Crest Nursing Home. Greta was born on August 29, 1929 in Bellefonte, a daughter of the late Jacob S. Knisely and Frances Gross Knisely. On October 8, 1955 she married Franklin D. Moerschbacher, who preceded her death on April 13, 2002.

She was a 1947 graduate of Bellefonte High School. She was a homemaker and member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Early in her life she enjoyed working at her parents food stand at Fisherman's Paradise, going to lunch with friends and conversing on the phone. She enjoyed spending time with family and found great pleasure in time spent with her grandsons Zach and Dylan.

Surviving are her son Franklin J. and his wife Nancy of Bellefonte and daughter Susan Moerschbacher- Ellis and her husband David of Bellefonte, two grandsons Zach and Dylan Moerschbacher of Bellefonte, one sister, Frances "Buttercup" Frazier of Ohio and a brother George of DeLand, FL.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother John L. Knisely.

In keeping with Greta's wishes there will be no public visitation and interment will be alongside her parents in Centre Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
