Gross A. Crater, 80, of Spring Mills died Sunday, March 20,2005 at the Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte.
He was born July 27,1924 in Gregg Twp., to the late James O. and Kathryn J. Gentzel Crater.
He was a truck driver for Agway for many years delivering feed.
He was a member of the Gregg Twp. Fire Co.
He is survived by one brother, Dean Crater of Centre Hall; two sisters, Phyllis Crater of Spring Mills and Marie Crater of Bellefonte. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Richard, Eugene, Malvin, and Glenn; and three sisters, Helen, Ruth, and Mabel.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 AM on Wednesday, March 23,2005 at the Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Michael Smith officiating. Burial will be at the Centre County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Associating of PA-Central Region, 209 E. Beaver Ave., State College, PA 16801.
