Obituary

Guy N. Homan, 73, of Centre Hall, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at his residence.
He was born June 25, 1929 in Gregg Twp. a son of the late William Ernest and Pearl Keller Homan.
On Dec. 28, 1976 He married Donna L. Hartman who survives at home.
He attended Gregg Township Schools.
Mr. Homan farmed for many years, then worked in construction, and later was the grounds superindendent at Grange Fair for nearly 17 years. He had served on the Penns Valley School Board for 13 years.
He was a member of St. Luke's Luthran Church, Centre Hall Lions Club, the Shanty Hollow Rod and Gun Club, and the NRA.
He especially enjoyed woodworking, bowling, Gospel Music and playing cards. He was an avid hunter and earlier in life enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by 4 daughters, Susan C. Shaffer of Jacksonville, Diane O'Hara and her husband Tim of Centre Hall, and Nicole D. and Megan J.. Homan both of Centre Hall, 7 sons: Gary N. and His wife Fran Homan of Centre Hall, William B. and his Wife Dorothy Homan of Warriors Mark, Lynn R. and his wife Sharon of Howard, Roger A. and his wife Vickie of Centre Hall, James and his wife Deb Homan of Spring Mills, Douglas E. Homan and his wife Vicki of Centre Hall, and Steven and his wife Beth of Spring Mills, 1 sister, Alverta Lindley of Yeagertown; and a brother, William L. of Centre Hall; 20 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Becky Ann Homan and a brother Dallas Homan.
A visitation will be held from 6 - 9 p. m. Thurs. May 22, 2003 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 301 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall, PA
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a. m. Friday, May 23, 2003 at the church with the Rev. Russell L. Sauerwein officiating.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, P. O. Box 331, Centre Hall, PA 16828; or to Brookline Home Care and Hospice, 3901 S. Atherton St., State College, PA 16801.
