Harold W. Albright's Obituary
Harold W. Albright, 66, of Centre Hall, died after a long and valiant fight with cancer on Tuesday,June, 8 2010, at the Fairways at Brookline Village at State College.
Born on October 1, 1943 in Farmers Mills, Gregg Twp., he was a son of C. Rosella (Walker) Albright of Centre Hall, and the late Kenneth Lee Albright, Sr.
Mr. Albright was a 1962 graduate of the Penns Valley Area High School.
On December 18, 1971 in Millheim, he was married to the former Lois M. Orndorf, who survives at home.
Harold had faithfully served with the Air National Guard Reserve.
He had been employed in Copy Machine Repairs at Nittany Office Plus in State College, retiring in 2009. He also managed the Kerr Cattle Company in Tusseyville for many years.
He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Centre Hall, the N.R.A., and the Mifflin County and Spring Mills Sportsmens Clubs. He was also a past member of the Centre Hall Farmers and Businessmen's Association.
Harold loved hunting and spending time with his Keeshonden dogs, Morgan and Cory, but his true passion was in farming. He enjoyed spending as much time as he could raising beef cattle, and planting and harvesting crops.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Lee Albright, Jr. and his wife Gene of Stratford, NJ, and Guy T. Albright and his wife Joyce of Shingletown; and is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Molly Elizabeth Neese.
Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA. The funeral will be begin at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 14, 2010 and will be held from the funeral home with the Reverend Scott A. Klimke officiating. Burial will follow at Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA.
