Harriet D. Shilling, 91, of Bellefonte died September 2, 2017 at Eagle Valley Personal Care Home in Milesburg.

Born December 24, 1925 in Lock Haven she was a daughter of the late Claude and Martha (Meckley) Berry.

On October 13, 1946 she married Leonard W. Shilling who preceded her in death on May 19, 2013.

She retired from the admissions office at Pennsylvania State University and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bellefonte.

Harriet is survived by her daughter, Claudia (Wayne) Weber of Chelsea, AL; granddaughter, Michelle (Jeff) Confarolta of Attleboro, MA and a great grandson Alex of Attleboro, MA.

A memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, September 11, 2017 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College with the Reverend Christoper Passante officiating. Interment will follow in Centre County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Harriet's name may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, 128 W. Howard Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
