Hazel Werme Marshall, 91, of The Oaks at Pleasant Gap, formerly of Aliquippa died Friday, December 26, 2008, at Centre Crest Nursing Center in Bellefonte.
She was born October 23, 1917, in Aliquippa a daughter of the late Otto Uno and Sophia Morberg Werme.
She married Alexander Marshall, May 10, 1952, who preceded her in death April 14, 1990.
Hazel graduated from Aliquippa High School. She was employed as a bookkeeper in the accounting department of American Bridge Company, and was a homemaker most of her life.
She enjoyed traveling, reading, walking, and was passionate about respect and admiration for the American flag. She was a member of House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Aliquippa.
Mrs. Marshall is survived by a daughter Linda Marshall and her husband Mark Ralston of Centre Hall; a granddaughter Hannah Williams of State College; two step- grandsons Scott and Greg Ralston; one sister, Doris Marie Hart of Lenexa, KS; and a sister-in-law Sarah Werme.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her twin brother Russell Werme and another brother Walt Werme.
Friends will be received from 11:00 a. m. to noon Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at the Tatalovich Funeral Home, 3475 Brodhead Road, Monaca, PA. The funeral will follow at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Aliquippa.
