Hazel G. Summers, 100, died Monday, May 29, 2006 at Centre Crest in Bellefonte.
She was born March 17, 1906, in Standing Stone, Bradford County, PA, a daughter of the late Samuel D. and Ella Keen Roof.
Hazel was married to Clair Summers who preceded her in death on May 5, 1979.
She was a member of the former Stormstown United Methodist Church, which has merged with Grays United Methodist Church.
Gardening was one of her favorite pastimes.
Mrs. Summers is survived by a son Donald Summers of Homosassa, FL; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia S. Waltz on November 23, 2003 and by a son Albert L. "Tubby" Summers, on Dec. 25, 1997; three sisters, four brothers, and a granddaughter.
Private graveside services and burial will be at Meyers Cemetery, Buffalo Run Road, Bellefonte, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Gray's United Methodist Church, 5687 Buffalo Run Road, Port Matilda, PA 16870.
