Inez Luse Lauck, 90, of Pine Grove Mills, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center at State College.
She was born October 29, 1921 in Centre Hall a daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred Long Luse.
On September 26, 1953, in Centre Hall, she married James A. Lauck who preceded her in death on March 8, 1995.
Inez was a 1939 graduate of Centre Hall Potter High School and attended Thompson Business College in Harrisburg.
Mrs. Lauck worked in the office of the Registrar at the Pennsylvania State University for thirty five years, retiring in June of 1981. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in State College, the Centre Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in Centre Hall and a member of the State College Woman's Club.
Surviving Mrs. Lauck are two brothers William H. Luse and his wife Shirley of Centre Hall and Dean S. Luse and his wife Esther of Pine Grove Mills; and one sister in law, Ruth Luse of Pleasant Gap.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, an infant brother Leonard and brothers, Richard E. and Bruce D. Luse.
At her request there will be no public visitation. A public funeral service was held at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA with the Reverend Carl Campbell and Reverend Eric J. Shafer officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Mills Cemetery.
