J. Roger Fisher, 70 , of Boalsburg died Sunday, November 18, 2019 at his residence.Born December 7, 1947 in Lower Burrell, he was the son of the late James and Eunice (Horgan) Fisher.He was married to the former Mary Frew.Roger was the owner of the former Governor's Table in Bellefonte; he was also a chef at Penn State's Redifer Commons for the past fifteen years.In addition to his wife he is survived by two children, Sean Williams (Lauren) and Erin Netts (Dave); two step children, Cathy Stefanski (Michael) and Deanne Hoffman (Will); one sister, Mary Ann Buck (Jim) and nine grandchildren.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Joe Fisher. A "Do Food" potluck celebration of life will be announced in the spring.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Roger's name may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
