Obituary

Jacqueline "Jackie" F. Bailey Johnson, 75, of State College, formerly of Boalsburg, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2007, at Lewistown Hospital, Lewistown, PA.
Born April 30, 1932 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William T. and Maude L. Colyer Bailey. On September 3, 1950, she married Walter "Ken" Johnson who survives at home. Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Foster of Huntingdon, Holly Fouse and her husband Joel of York and one son, Denny and his wife Judy of Boalsburg; seven grandchildren, Glen "Buck" of Huntingdon, Ken of Tyrone, and Scot Foster of Huntindgon, J. R. of Petersburg and Joe (Jessica) Couch of Huntingdon, Christy Anders of Tyrone and Terralee Johnson of Boalsburg, three great grandchildren, Shawn and Brooke Anders of Alexandria, and Glen M. Foster of Tyrone; and a dear niece Pat Stimer of Port Matilda.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son in law Glen Foster, two sisters, Ethel Wagner and Albertine Moore and three brothers, Carl, Charles, and Grover Bailey.
Early in life Jackie worked as a waitress at the Corner Room. She then worked for Riverside Markets as a baker for 15 years. In 2004, after 10 years of service, she retired as a housekeeper for Hawbaker Rentals. Those who knew her know how much her family meant to her. Her grandchildren were very dear to her heart. Jackie enjoyed her home away from home at Buttonwood Camp Ground in Port Royal. She looked forward to camping at Grange Fair each August. Jackie enjoyed Wednesday morning trips to the Belleville Sale and Peacheys Market. Her hobbies included reading, watching NASCAR (especially Kevin Harvick), football, yard sales, country music and bingo.
Friends will be received from 6 - 8 p. m. Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Home, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall. The funeral will be at 10:00 a. m. Monday, June 4, 2007, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Mills Cemetery, Pine Grove Millls, PA.
