Jacqueline "Jackie" L. Dutrow, 85, of Centre Hall and Loganton, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Lock Haven Hospital in Lock Haven.
She was born August 25, 1926 at Lewistown, a daughter of the late Edward L. and Dorothy Deering Heiser.
February 27, 1946 she married Albert C. Dutrow who preceded her in death, October 30, 2011.
Jackie was a 1945 graduate of Centre Hall Potter High School.
She worked at Sylvania near Mill Hall during World War II and was a homemaker most of her life. While living in Centre Hall, she was an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church.
Among the things she enjoyed most were handicrafts including sewing, crocheting and tatting.
Mrs. Dutrow is survived by two sons, Gary Lee Dutrow and his wife Joyce of Loganton, and Barry Lynn Dutrow and his wife Linda of Centre Hall; three grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; two sisters Donis McClellan of Colyer and Gloria Kay Thomann of Cincinnati OH; one brother Wallace Heiser and his wife Mary Kay of Centre Hall; and one sister in law Wilma Heiser of Bellefonte.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother Edward Heiser.
Friends will be received from 1:30 to 2:30 p. m. Monday, December 5, 2011, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 301 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall. A memorial service will follow immediately at 2:30 p. m. at the church, with the Reverend Scott Klimke and the Reverend Russell Sauerwein officiating. Private committal and burial services will be at the convenience of the family in the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery in Centre Hall.
