Jacques L. Weber, 88, of Bridgeville, formerly of Port Matilda, died September 4, 2016 at the Baptist Home in Castle Shannon.

Born March 29, 1928 in Altoona, PA she was raised by Margaret and Charles Harpster.

On May 29, 1952 she married Charles A Weber who preceded her in death on August 7, 2014.

She truly enjoyed her bible studies, so much so that she would cook formal meals for the meetings. She also took pleasure in birds, flowers, painting and reading about history. She found joy in classic old time movies and would emulate the movies into her own home.

Jacques is survived by two sons, Stephen (Rachael) Weber of Avella and Michael Jordan (Pam) of Orlando, FL; three daughters, Marilee Caputo of Fallbrook, CA, Kathryn Long of Austin, TX and Joie(Don) Kobak of Tyrone; two granddaughters, Carol Brownsfield of Washington and Kelly Powell of Boalsburg and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Alice Harpster Barry.

Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 PM, Friday September 9, 2016 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Port Matilda Cemetery.
