Jacqulyn R. (Hill) Henry, 97, of Lewistown, formerly of Boalsburg, died on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Greenwood Village in Lewistown. She was born in Wharton Township, Potter County, Pennsylvania, on June 2, 1925 to the late Robert U. and Rolla (Rees) Hill. Her husband, Donald C. Henry, whom she married on October 10, 1947, preceded her in death on November 23, 2008.

After her schooling at Harrisburg Hospital, Jacqulyn was employed as a nurse at Center Community Hospital in Bellefonte on the maternity floor.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Boalsburg, The Red Hat Society, Bible Study classes, and the Harrisburg Hospital Alumni Association. She also participated in the yearly Bellefonte Class Reunion which ended after the 74th year.

Jackie enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, playing cards, working on puzzles, working on crafts, getting her hair done, and Kit Kats. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Jackie is survived by two sons, Dr. Larry Henry and his wife Sally of Chicora, PA, and Gary Henry and his wife Mary of Lewistown, PA; five grandchildren, Jason Henry and his wife, Emma of Pittsburgh, Ashlee (Henry) Traister of Grove City, Tyler Henry and his wife Haley of Carlisle, Julie Henry of Boalsburg, and Jess Henry of Lewistown. She was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Addy and Brandtley. She has one surviving sister-in-law, Evelyn Bailey of Boalsburg and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Watson, and one brother, Ron Hill.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022 from 11:00am until the time of funeral service at 12:00pm at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home 1034 Benner Pike State College, PA 16801, Chaplain Tavis Stauffer officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Center County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John's United Church of Christ, Church St., Boalsburg, PA 16827, or to Greenwood Village Activities Fund, 276 Green Ave., Lewistown, PA 17044.
