Obituary
James Frank Gingerich, 95, of Boalsburg died February, 24, 2017 at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Born May 2, 1921 in Burnham, PA he was the son of the late Ira and Mary (Hale) Gingerich.
He was the husband of the late Daisy Pearline (Paules) Gingerich who preceded him in death on January 11, 1993.
Jim was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran and the former owner of Jim's Army and Navy Store in State College.
He is survived by two sons, Ira Gingerich and John "Jack" and his wife Bettina Gingerich; five grandchildren, Jimmy Gingerich and Kelly (Jared) Kwiatkowski, Saeed, Abraham and Natasha Parvin and five great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four daughters, Mary Durdines, Barbara Davis, Janet and Ann Gingerich; and a grandson John Gingerich.
All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in James's name may be made to The Jared Box Project, 129 Fenwick Drive, Port Matilda, PA 16870.
