Obituary

James "Jim" Thomas Walker, 71, of rural Centre Hall passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at his residence.
He was born May 25, 1939, in Bellefonte, a son of the late Charles E. and Emma J. Anderson Walker
On April 29, 1967, he married Evaline M. Roberts who survives at home.
Jim was a Christian, who enjoyed spending time with his family and watching western shows.
Surviving him are three children, Joseph T. Walker at home, James E. Walker of Kershey; a daughter, Joyce M. Walker and her companion John Wagner Jr. of Centre Hall; one sister Helen E. Walker of Centre Hall; two brothers, Richard O. Walker of Milesburg, and Leroy E. Walker of Centre Hall; two grandchildren, Billy and Cindy Standridge of Centre Hall; four nieces, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary J. and Judy E. Walker and two brothers, John W. and Charles N. Walker.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 4, at 11:00 a. m. at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service P. C. 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, with the Reverend Michael Covalt officiating. Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the James T. Walker Memorial Fund, to assist in medical and funeral expenses, C/O Leroy E. Walker, P. O. Box 536, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
