Obituary
Janelle S. Sigel, 64, of State College, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at her residence.
Born on May 6, 1952 in Bellefonte, she was a daughter of the late Richard W. and Patricia L (Gummo) Sigel.
She graduated from the State College Area High School, and then went on to continue her education at Penn State University. After college, she started working at Penn State at the Pattee Library. She retired in 2015, after 33 years of service.
Janelle enjoyed quilting, and was an avid reader.
She is survived by two sisters; Toni Sigel Fetterman (Sheridon) of State College, and Roni Lyn Mare (Lynn) of State College; one niece, Allison Taylor Mare.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Craig Richard Sigel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Toys for Tots, 243 S. Allen Street, State College, PA 16801
All services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801.
