Janet (Henninger) Conrad, age 69, of Pine Grove Mills, died, September 20, 2008, in Mount Nittany Medical Center.
She was born July 4, 1939, in Bellefonte, a daughter of the late William H. and Carrie M. Franks Henninger.
On September 12, 1959, she married George W. Conrad, who survives at home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Amy Beth Conrad of Shamokin, PA; two sons: Allen Scott Conrad of Rock Ridge, OH and Andrew G. Conrad and his wife Brenda of Universal City, TX, a sister; Joan M. Henney of Pine Grove Mills, PA and six grandchildren.
Janet was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Pine Grove Mills, where she was on the council and was a former Sunday School Teacher.
She was a 1957, graduate of State College High School, and attended Penn State University,
Mrs. Conrad was a teaching assistant for Central Intermediate Unit #10 at Centre Hall since 1978, and bus driver for Kline's School bus since 1971. She enjoys crafts, cooking and canning.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a. m. Saturday, September 27, 2008 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 277 West Pine Grove Road, Pine Grove Mills, with the Rev. Gregory Harbaugh and the Rev. Carl Campbell officiating. A luncheon will follow.
