Janet E. Moore, 81, of Centre Hall, passed away December 25, 2024. She was born October 31, 1943 in Bellefonte, PA to the late Paul and Helen (Johnson) Beck. On July 11, 1971 she married Barry W. Moore; they remained married until his passing in 1985.

Janet worked in transportation at the Pennsylvania State University until her retirement in 2005. She enjoyed needlework, babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, baking cookies and decorating her home for the holidays.

Along with her parents and husband, Janet was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Beck and Brady Beck; niece, Tammy Beck; nephew, Tom Beck; daughter-in-law, Betty Jean Moore and sister-in-law, Elsie Beck. She is survived by her two sons, Paul Moore and Terry Moore (Mandy); sister-in-law, Beverly Beck; nine grandchildren, Codie, Cyle, Josh, Barry, Kasey, TJ, Raelyn, Tony and Jeffrey and 15 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm with a service immediately following at 3:00pm at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. Private interment will take place at the Centre County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Janet's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
