Janice "Jan" Lynn Miller-Barger, 49, of Centre Hall, died Monday, April 19, 2004 at home.
She was born June 13, 1954, in Bellefonte, a daughter of Lynn Miller of Centre Hall and the late Mae Lannen Miller.
On May 22, 1993 she married Craig E. Barger who survives at home.
Ms. Barger graduated from Penns Valley High School in 1972 and from Mt. Aloysius College in Cresson, PA in 1992, with an associate degree as an occupational Therapy Assistant. She was a licensed certified occupational therapy assistant employed by Genesis Health Care Services.
She was a member of St Luke's Lutheran Church in Centre Hall.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her step mother Kathryn Miller of Centre Hall, 3 sisters, Judy Spotts and her husband Alvin of Centre Hall, Peg Perlongo and her husband Joe of Spokane, Washington and Bonnie Miller of State College; 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 3 great nieces, and 1 great nephew and her mother in law Ruth Barger of Kississimee, FL
A celebration of Jan's life will be held at 10:00 a. m. Saturday, May 1, 2004, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 301 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, with the Rev. Russell L. Sauerwein officiating.
At Jan's request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Aloysius College, Institutional Advancement Office, for the Janice Miller-Barger scolarship fund, 7373 Admiral Peary Highway, Cresson, PA 16630.
