Jean E. Hook of State College, died Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at the Mt. Nittany Medical Center. She was born January 4, 1916 in Indiana, PA, the daughter of Claude and Elizabeth Watt Culbertson. She was a high school graduate. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker and enjoyed participating in The Branching Out Bible Study at Oakwood Church.
She was married for 63 years to Robert who survives in State College. She is also survived by a son, Robert of Issaquah, Washington; a daughter, Sandra Bergen and two granddaughters, Trina and Katelyn of State College.
Her parents, four brothers, and a sister preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday August 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oakwood Presbyterian Church at 1865 Waddle Rd., State College, with Rev. Russell St. John officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Pine Hall Cemetery.
