JEAN STOKES age 81 of Mount Morris, NY, died peacefully on Monday February 6, 2023 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. She was born the daughter of Joseph and Irene (Bell) Farley on November 8, 1941 in Birmingham, England. She married John Stokes on May 16, 1964 whom she met while teaching ballroom dancing. As a couple they won awards and medals for their dancing prowess. She started her working career at Cadbury Chocolate Factory in England and prior to her retirement she worked at the Homer Men's and Boy's Store in Homer, NY.  She enjoyed photography, dancing and her love of cats.

She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 59 years John. 2 children Adam (Billi Jo) Stokes of Pennsylvania and Kay Stokes of Mount Morris. Sister-in-law Stella Truscott and niece Claire Truscott both of England, and many dear and loving friends.

Friends will be received starting at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike State College, PA 16801.
