Jean Beatrice Younkers Klinefelter, 78, of Colyer, beloved wife, mother and gram, died Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Colyer.
She was born June 26, 1927, in Huntingdon, a daughter of the late Archie and Ida Rae Younkers.
She married Clarence L. Klinefelter on August 24, 1946, who survives at home.
Mrs. Klinefelter was especially devoted to her family and enjoyed gardening and working with flowers.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Frances McCool and Dorothy Baird; three sons, James, William and LeRoy Klinefelter; four grandchildren, and three sisters, Hazel of Kentucky, Maxine of Industry, PA and Shirley of Johnstown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
Friends will be received from 10:00 a. m. until 11:30 a. m. on Monday, June 12, 2006 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a. m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Zion Hill Cemetery, Colyer.
