Jeffrey L. Rowles, 56, of rural Spring Mills, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center at State College.
He was born October 23, 1951 at Lewistown, a son of the late Charlotte Rowles.
On June 27, 1970, he married Connie J. Ripka who survives at home.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Angela K. Rowles of rural Spring Mills; two sons, Joseph L. Rowles of rural Spring Mills, and Taran K. Rowles at home; and two grandchildren, Kayle and Casey Rowles.
Mr. Rowles graduated from Kishacoquillas High School in 1970. He was employed by Yoder Brothers in Belleville as a dry wall installer. He was later self employed as a dry wall installer for several years.
Jeffrey was a member of the American Boer Goat Association, and the Gold Pan Association. He enjoyed raising goats and loved animals of all types. He also enjoyed working with leather.
At his request, there will be no public visitation. Private Memorial services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
