IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joann "Jody"
Musser
November 2, 1946 – January 24, 2018
JoAnn "Jody" Musser of Centre Hall, Our Wife, Our Mom, Our Mim passed away January 24, 2018. She was 71. Born November 2, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to John J. & Dorothy Sparks.
JoAnn graduated from Trenton High School, NJ. She earned degrees in History & Library Science from Glassboro State College, Glassboro, NJ. On April 10, 1969 she married the love of her life, Bryant M. Musser. JoAnn was a teacher in the PennsValley Area School District for 30 years. She loved being a teacher & living where she taught gave her the opportunity to see her students grow & start their own families. JoAnn was a smart, well rounded compassionate woman who was an avid reader. She enjoyed taking care of her Victorian home, her plants, walking her Irish Setters & helping to raise & enrich the lives of her grandchildren. JoAnn spent summers as a child at her family's cottage at Cape May Point, NJ. So anytime she got back to the ocean to breathe the salty air she felt at home.
JoAnn deeply loved her family. She was preceded in passing by her parents, John & Dorothy Sparks & her Brother In Law, Joseph Kuns. JoAnn leaves behind her husband Bryant Musser, Centre Hall. Daughter Jennifer Stoner & Son In Law Thomas "Toby" Stoner, Spring Mills. Daughter Paige Gray & Son in law Sean Gray, Centre Hall. Four beautiful Grandchildren Cullen & Rowley Vanada & Kendall & Phinnean Gray. Sister Dottie Kuns, Florida.
An Irish Quote,
"Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed & very dear. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."
No funeral services will be held at this time. We will be having a celebration of life this Spring/Summer.
