John Allen (John John) Furgison, 55, of Bellefonte , died on Friday, August 11, 2017 in Philipsburg.

He was born July 6, 1962; at Washington D.C. a son of James and Evelyn Mateer Furgison who survive in Bellefonte.

In addition to his parents, John is survived by one brother James L. Furgison of North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Kathy Jo and Connie Louise Furgison, and Kandy Furgison Fohringer.

Friends will be received from 1 - 2 pm, Thursday, August 24, 2017, at Coleville Wesleyan Church, 326 Lower Coleville Road, Bellefonte, PA. A memorial service will follow immediately at 2 pm at the church, with the Reverend Ron Kilgus officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy, PA.
