John Henry King, 73, of Boalsburg, died Friday,May 6,2005 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center.
He was born September 1,1931 in State College to the late Ernest T. and Hazel E. Wolfe King Sr.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He retired as supervisor of maintenance for Supelco Inc.
He was a member of the Nittany Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Bailey King of Boalsburg,; two daughters, Cathy Shirk and her husband Ronald of Lewistown, and their three children, John Loner of Lewistown, Bryan Loner of Burnham, and Heather Giardino of Burnham,; Kandi Damiano and her husband Mike of State College, and their three children, Kasandra, Christopher, and Zachary,; a brother, Frank D. King of Haines City, FL,; eight grandchildren,; and one gr-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ernest T. King Jr.,; three sisters, Clara C. Ghaner, Barbara E. Hampton, and Emma Jean Shingledecker.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-6:30 PM Sunday, May 8,2005 at the Nittany Baptist Church, 430 Mountain Back Rd.,Spring Mills, PA 16875. The funeral service will follow at 6:30 PM at the church with the Rev. Jody Reese officiating.
