John M. Anderson's Obituary
John M Anderson, 69, of Huntingdon, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at his residence,
He was born December 4, 1943, in Huntingdon, a son of the late W. James and Jean Grove Anderson.
On May 6, 1966 he married Mary Elizabeth Powell who survives at home.
Mr. Anderson served in the U. S Army during the Viet Nam War. He was a member of the Mapleton American Legion Post 322. He worked most of his life as a laborer and equipment operator in road construction. John was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed talking on his CB radio.
Surviving in addition to his wife Mary Elizabeth is one daughter Jennifer Arnold and her husband Paul of Mapleton Depot; one son James B. Anderson at home; two grandchildren Kaci Fisher and Sean Cook; and one great granddaughter Aaliyah Fisher and one brother David Anderson and his wife Margaret of Dushore
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Jason Anderson.
Memorial services will be private at the convenience of the family.
