John W Telford (age 81) died on November 21, 2020 from complication of radiation treatment for cancer which he courageously battled for 6.5 years.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law and stepfather. He was a wonderful teacher, mentor, friend, scientist and inventor. He is truly missed by many whose lives he touched in so many wonderful ways.

John got his PH.D.  in Industrial Education and Computer Science in 1973  from Penn State. He spent many years as a Professor of Computer Science at Salem State College in Massachusetts.

John left behind his grieving family -- wife Sofia Chernin, 2 sons John A. and Joel R Telford, step-son Boris Chernin, 2 daughters-in-law Sheila and Amanda Telford, 4 grandsons William, Daniel, and twins Alex and Tommy.
