Joseph Ward Giles, 80, of Bellefonte died April 30, 2014 at Centre Crest in Bellefonte.
Born May 14, 1934 in Clearfield he was a son of the late Jessie A. and Phoebe Mae (Carnes) Giles. On April 11, 1953 he married Beverly E. Price, who survives in Bellefonte. Ward was a graduate of Clearfield High School, an army veteran during the Korean War and the former manager of the old A&P.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Gregory Giles and his wife Marlies and two grandchildren, Kellie Giles and Jayson Massey. Ward was preceded in death by a son Timothy in 2001.
All services were private and at the convenience of the family.
