Joseph C. Kruppa, 79, of State College died Monday, August 2, 2010, at Hearthside Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in State College .
He was born August 21, 1930 in Bound Brook, NJ; a son of the late William Joseph and Dora Naomi Kaiser Kruppa.
Mr. Kruppa was a member of New Covenant Baptist Church in State College. He was an avid church member all his life. Over the years Joe participated in The Special Olympics Bowling program.
Everyone who knew Joe, liked him and he liked everyone he knew.
Surviving him is one brother, Richard F. Kruppa, of Volcano, HI; a nephew Steven D. Kruppa of West Chester, Pa., and a niece, Suzanne L. Kruppa of Kailua, Hawaii.
A memorial service will be held @7:00PM on August 30, at New Covenant Baptist Church, 1524 University Dr., State College, PA; with the Reverend Andrews Renfrew officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
