Kandus Y. Fohringer, 44, of Millheim, PA, died Wednesday, August 6, 2003, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born June 28, 1959, in Ohio, a daughter of James and Evelyn Mateer Furgison who survive in Bellefonte.
On May 21, 1994 she married Randy Fohringer who survives at home.
Kandus attended Bellefonte High School and worked at Corning Asahi Video Products where she worked in quality assurance and most recently as a supervisor's assistant. She was a member of Miles Township Fire Company.
She especially enjoyed NASCAR racing, horses, fishing and the beach; and cherished spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by one daughter, Kelli and her husband Rodney Brungart of Rebersburg, and a step-daughter, Heather Fohringer of Aaronsburg; two sons, Randy Swatsworth and his wife Rose, and Travis Swatsworth both of Bellefonte; two brothers, James L. Furgison of Gilbert, SC, and John Furgison of State College; 3 grandchildren Allisha Weaver, Ricky and Austin Swatsworth, and a foster granddaughter. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Friends will be recieved at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall, PA from 11:00 a. m. until 2:00 p. m., on Sunday, August 10, 2003. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p. m., Sunday at the funeral home, with Pastor Julia Piper officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy, PA
